About me
I’m Matej. I turn chaos into a space where people can find common ground.
I started in events — conferences, speakers, diverse audiences and an atmosphere people remember. Then came eight years in IT: projects, platform rollouts, leading analysts and transferring an Australian branch.
I have also experienced burnout and written openly about it. It taught me that value is not in the number of hours worked, but in what you notice and how you lead. Today I work remotely, with a small number of clients.
The experience behind what I offer today
Conferences and people
International events with 5 parallel tracks taught me to align the programme, speakers and team. Today that experience informs both facilitation and coordinating an entire event.
Business and IT
Managing a portfolio of 13 projects at once and leading analysts taught me to keep priorities and the whole picture in focus. I bring that experience to audits, project starts and longer-term leadership.
Change across countries
Platform rollouts and transferring an Australian branch and its contracts brought together operations, people and agreements. Today that experience underpins handover planning and leading larger rollouts.
A focused engagement is not the limit of what I do. It is a concrete starting point for working together — you can keep it at that or build a larger project on it.

2026 – present
A year in Costa Rica
My family and I moved to Costa Rica for a year. I work remotely with a small number of clients and keep learning project management and AI.
2024 – 2026

The bridge between business units in Slovakia and Czechia and corporate IT. I analysed needs, led corporate and local platform rollouts and reported directly to the general manager. The Good Neighbour project – renovating the ENT ward of the children’s hospital in Bratislava – won 3rd place at the PROKOP Award.
